Park Hopping and FP+

If I am going to AK first then hopping over to HS, can I make my 3 FP+ for Hollywood Studios? I just wasn't sure if your Fast Passes had to be for the first park you visit that day?

Your 3 advanced FPs do not have to be at your first park.

Using those FPs at the second park is a very popular and, in our experience, very effective use of hoppers and FP+.

I'm going to share my experience back in September. (we were also there Nov '14) We are park hoppers! In September we planned to highlight 3 parks....MK, AK, then HS. We had an ADR at AK around 1pm......FPs at HS starting at 3pm. We hit MK first....walked on HM, then headed to BTMR....the wait time was already 40 minutes!!! I planned on 15 mins....then 15 mins for Splash, it took us 25 mins. We did ride the train back to the station, took the bus to AK....arrived at our ADR at exactly 1. However....we planned to ride Everest and Dinosaur before lunch. That didn't happen! So it was almost 5pm when we finally got to HS!!! Never used our FPs! ToT was only a 10 min wait so not a big deal but we skipped RnR and Star Tours! I so wish I done our FPs at MK.....things would have gone much smoother.

In November....we only did 2 park days, FPs in the second park. Our first day....HS then MK...everything worked like a charm! We had 3 FPs at MK starting around 3pm. We used all 3 then got 3 more additional FPs. The next day...we started at AK...waited way too long for the Safari! Waited for Everest, which broke down.....had to rush to Epcot to make our FPs!!!! We made all 3 at Epcot (glitch in system, so had FPs for TT and Soarin) but felt we did not get to spend the time we wanted at AK.

If I had to do it again....especially in Sept, I would have made early FPs.....for the second park, make sure you make them late enough so you can spend all the time you need in the first park!

We are a hopper family and this is exactly what we did and it worked great.
