Park Hopping - 4 Parks

I think since we did a party of 14 end of June 2021 at MK from rope drop to end of the night helps with my positivity. There were only 5 of us left at the end of the night. We limped out that night but happy to have made it to the end.

Would you do HS before EP? I plan to LL plus Guardians and Rise LL. No plans to do Tron or Tiana. Maybe Ratatouille if single rider is short for the kids. Have a plan so we have direction but also remember it’s the experience too.

My goal is to get to MK around 5pm. Grab a couple of rides, cheeseburger egg roll / dole whip and find a seat for the fireworks.

I personally would Do studios before Epcot, And since you said you’re buying lightning lane, I agree with the previous poster to get them at Hollywood Studios starting at like 10. Now, I may be a little bit biased because we are a big Star Wars family So that is usually our priority. I also think if you’re at Epcot around lunchtime, that’s a lot more options for a larger party. I would say, though if you can swing it, Tron is awesome. I highly recommend it though Getting off that darn motorcycle, it’s probably the worst part of the ride.

We rode tron twice last year through LL and extended hours. It’s a great ride but I think the time waiting in line will cut in to much of our day there. If it’s only an hr when we get there, maybe.

I think we will have to pass on the sky liner though. Just seems counter productive to do the studios to EP and then go back to the studios for the car.

Where’s the bus schedule / arrival times in the app? I’m really considering parking at MK, walking to poly and taking the bus to HS. Then we can sky line to EP, walk France to Mexico, GG, and Soaring. If there’s time, space ship earth.

Monorail to MK from EP.

I do not think that exists in the app- would love to know if it does. When we were at BLT the resort to park busses were listed on the bus stop board. Tended to run every 20-30 minutes.

This park order makes the most sense and allows you to go straight to your car at the end of the day. This also sounds like fun and may be something we try on next trip!

I saw a video with it listed. I remember using it last May when we were at AKL. Maybe it’s only visible once you’re on property?

Keep in mind that the posted wait times are intentionally inflated in the evening to discourage late riders.

I checked Tron a couple of days ago for an example. The posted wait about a half hour before closing time was 105 minutes but the actual reported wait was 35.

I got my crew to do this last August. We started in AK, went to HS, Epcot and ended in MK. Bought the LLMP. We were back in our room by 630pm. We were beat. It helped that my youngest, at 7, was primarily in a stroller and he could just side. He gets nervous every time I talk about park hopping on our upcoming August trip but keep reminding him that it wouldn't be all 4 parks - just 2. The 4 park challenge was a one and done for us.

What time does the buses start between parks?
If I remember correctly, the park to park buses started at 10am.

How did you manage the transportation when you park hopped?
We took a bus to AK, bus to HS, skyliner to Epcot, then monorail to MK. Bus back to the hotel. I wanted to ride a boat as well but my crew wasn't interested on riding the ferry at TTC. I didn't want to push my luck with a getting cranky 7 year old.

Bus wait times are available on the app once you arrive but only from your resort to the parks. E.g. AKL to each park but not parks back to AKL.

So I booked our LL (HS) and single LL (GoG and ROR). We got the rides we wanted, Tower of Terror, Slinky Dog, and Toy Story Mania. Unfortunately, we did not get the times we wanted so HS will be our 3rd park of the day.

Our GoG LL is 10:50-11:50 so I am hoping we can get to the park before 10am so we can knock out Soaring and Spaceship Earth. Do GoG, Mexico to France and then on to the Sky Liner to HS.

My issue is configuring the getting there part. I am tempted to park in MK after AK, go to Poly and take the bus to EPCOT. I feel like take the monorail to MK and then the EPCOT monorail will take quite a while. Anyone done that before? Time frame?

Our last LL for Slinky Dog is 5:15 - I'm going to finagle all week to try and knock this back to the 4:00 range. Not expecting it but fingers crossed. After that boogie out to the buses to go to MK.

Just hurts bc I won't have as much availability due to late afternoon LL's to book more for MK.

What would you do to make this a little more streamlined? I'm open to ideas for help our 4 parks in 1 day adventure :)

From the Poly you might just walk to the TTC and catch the the Epcot Monorail. There is no bus service from the Poly to Epcot. Why would you go to Poly vs taking a bus from AK directly to Epcot anytime after 10 AM?

If you don’t have to drive your car, we found success by leaving the Animal Kingdom and then I would recommend taking the bus from Animal Kingdom to Beach Clover yacht club and then walk over to Epcot, using the world showcase entrance. Typically when we go to Animal Kingdom, we do whichever as fastest going back to our hotel or taking a bus to a different resort to get to the park. We wanna be at.

We have a car that we planned to leave at MK for the end of the night.

If you park at MK you are closest to the TTC, just take the Epcot Monorail. There are (2) monorail lines. One around MK, and the other direct to Epcot. The Epcot Monorail just goes to Epcot.
