HI all
I posted on another thread about this but I was on page two yesterday and when I came back today there are 12 pages.

So, I figured I'd start another thread to find out about this.

In July, I used old park hoppers that still had 4 days left on them. The first day, no scanning.

Second day, was told I had to scan. CM told me to put my fingers in so he could get all 4 of my tickets to go through.

Now someone mentioned that all of those park hoppers are scanned to me and that I'll probably have problems the next time I go to use them.

Someone mentioned going to guest relations to fix the problem. Where is that? I purposely go to the parks early to get as much done as possible so I don't want to be messing around that morning to get the ticket situation straightened out.

Thanks for your help

Guest Relations is near the park entrance. There is one section just inside the park and another section just outside the park.

For Magic Kingdom, after you go through the archways, under the train station, "inside" G.R. is to the left, in "City Hall". For Epcot, "outside" G.R. is, if you leave the turnstile area, head around to the left as if to take the resort buses. "Inside" G.R. is to the left of Spaceship Earth as you enter the park.

With all four park hoppers scanned to you, you personally should not have problems using them up yourself, but if you hand them out to family members again, they might have problems. Unless you are with them and repeat the process of putting in your fingers for all four tickets while family members go through the turnstiles one at a time and you go through last (technically not allowed).

Off Topic: It is undesirable for any one person to use up old tickets during the same vacation when he also buys and starts using a new ticket, where the vacation is 5 to 10 days and the new ticket is for fewer than 10 days. Although some loss of flexibility such as no Disney Quest (pre-2005 hopper plus passes don't includ DQ) may be experienced, one person can use up a bunch of old tickets while others in the family get new tickets that span the entire vacation. Price out your ticket budget with all new longer tickets versus your ticket budget using both old tickets and shorter new tickets and you will quickly see why. (You may find that each day on an old ticket reduces your budget by only three dollars, while an old ticket is worth over sixty dollars a day for a very short vacation.)
