OH, boy!! This is the week that I pay for my famlies park hopper for the Cheerleading comp week at WDW. Man nearly 1000.00 is coming out of my pocket on Sunday.

I only hope and pray that this is going to be worth it. The thought of spending that much money is mind blowing. I go to the opportunity places to buy my families clothes, I don't like to spend money on items that will only be used for awhile. I go shopping at places like Dollar General and sometimes think that the prices are too high.

Yes, I am a penny pincher to the MAX! So I am afraid of giving that much money up for one trip. That is not including the hotel, food, and other needs once we get there.

I hope that its worth it. Please be worth it.

Do some arithmetic. Work some numbers.

You may find that the new standard tickets (Magic Your Way) in their normal expiring form cost less than discontinued hopper passes that you might still find in some Disney Stores or elsewhere.

If you already ordered Hoppers and are able to cancel, you can get the new tickets instead.

If you can go without park hopping (carefully check the cheerleading schedule) you can save even more with the new tickets.

We are getting the park hoppers for 145.00, thats 3 day. Is that higher than I can get???

And No I have never ever been before to WDW or anything like that.

$145. for a three day hopper?

That is somewhat less than 3 day non-hopping tickets bought tomorow at the ticket booth.

"Keep what you got."

Are you saying that you got 3 day parkhopper tickets for $145.00 each ???? If thats true than please email me with where you got those from if you can. We're a family of six -and trust me when I say that it's killing me on how much the tickets are going to cost me ! :guilty: I keep hoping that some ticket special will come out,we're not going until summer 2005 so I keep crossing my fingers :scared:

I think they probably got a group discount of some sort on the passes since they are going with a cheerleading group. ~:D~

First of all, it will all be worth the price! You are in for a magical time!

Secondly, the price that you paid for 3-day Park Hoppers is a very good price. You're not going to find them much cheaper anyplace else.

Lastly, if you're looking for ways to cut costs, visit the DISBoards - Budget Forum where you'll get lots of advise on how to make the trip more affordable.

That's why I asked earlier if the OP had ever been to WDW before. We WDW vets know that nothing compares to the experience that you get at WDW. It is hard, however, to prepare someone for the sticker shock of the prices of everything there, especially for penny-pinchers like myself. For some reason, it just doesn't matter so much once you get there and get sprinkled by the pixie dust!! :wizard:

I'd also love to know where you got 3 day hoppers for that price! Email me too...

(We've got a family of 5 going in June and I'm also a bargain shopper. We buy most of our clothes second-hand from church sales and our food at the Super WalMart! I'm still trying to digest spending hundreds for a few days at a themepark!)
