park hopper workaround??

bear with me as i try to explain this so it makes sense.
im planning a trip for next may. we will have 3 days in the parks 1 day each for HS and MK and i was plannin on doing a park hopper for 1 day and do AK in the morning and then head to Epcot after lunch. my question is that instead of buying a park hopper pass for that 1 day and 2 magic your ways could i just buy 4 magic your way passes? if i go the park hopper option it will cost us $982 but if i just buy 4 passes it's only $872... thats a $110 savings that i can use elsewhere (i wanna get DD a makeover at Bibbidi!!) . so can i do this? if i go to AK in the am then use a different daily pass to go to Epcot? TIA!

Does not make economic sense.

Four one-day tickets (1 MK and 3 others) $365 (plus tax) for one adult.

A four day hopper is $338+

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum, especially Post #15-A(2), you can get a lot more information and check the prices in Post #18. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature. The ticket sticky is your friend!

As you learned from Cheshire Figment's excellent sticky, the only ways to go to two parks in one day is either to have a park hopper or to have completely separate tickets. You can buy four one-day tickets to do what you want, but that costs more than buying a four day hopper. You can't buy a 4-day ticket that is not a hopper and try to use more than one day on the same calendar day.
