Park hopper vs. DAH Dec trip, can we discuss pros and cons?

We're pretty weird Disney folks in that we adore some attractions/rides, but can completely skip the rest of the park. For example, I've been to the MK twice this year and never walked into new Fantasyland. For our upcoming December trip we'd like to do these things:

DHS - walk around star wars, ride ToT (multiple times), ride RRC
AK - EE (multiple times), walk around Pandora after dark, eat at Yak and Yeti
EPCOT - hear the Christmas from around the world stories in World Showcase, see candlelight processional
MK - MVMCP, Jingle cruise, HM, SM... etc.

We're torn between:
DAH AK, DAH DHS, MVMCP, & 1 day 1 park ticket to EPCOT

or
MCMCP and 3 day park hoppers

Park Hoppers would give us more time in the parks, but we don't really have stuff to fill that time. The costs seem to work out the same (is that right? it seems right), but given the limited things we're interested in, which ticketing option makes the most sense?

I don't believe there's an option for DAH DHS, so that makes that decision easier.

You can ride EE multiple times if you RD it no probs, I personally would go with the park hopping option - you're very limited the other route.

If the things you've listed are truly the ONLY things you want to do, I think you'll get bored at the DAH events long before they're over. You'll probably have to choose which storytellers you want to see with just a 1-day ticket to EP. The way they are scheduled, you usually can't see all of them in one day. Throw in either waiting in line for CP or doing a dining package, and the time you'll have with just a 1-day ticket will make it even harder. Remember, the storytellers don't start until around noon. What will you do with a morning at EP?

So my vote is also for the 3-day hopper and MVMCP.

I didn't realize the storytellers didn't start until noon... we'd probably either arrive late (most likely), or maybe try Nemo or Test Track. Neither have a huge appeal but it'd be a way to waste some time. Park hoppers are seeming more like the right answer...

While there isn't one available now, they offered DAH last December. With SWGE opening, I expected them to offer again, maybe at a higher price. Is the a reason to think it won't be offered?

I think it’s is unlikely they will offer DAH at DHS because of SWGE. They have already stopped scheduling it past the land opening. I think there is no way to predict how they will handle extra paid events after the opening, but you should definitely consider that they might not offer DAH at all while the land is new.

Also, even though it's a huge question mark right now, the other ride in SWGE should be opened sometime this fall which will cause another surge of weird park hours and crowds. I think if they do offer a DAH at DHS sometime this fall it will be one of the most sought after tickets they've ever sold and hard to come by.
