Hey Everyone!! I'm new here and have a question that I'm hoping someone can shed some light on. I have some tickets that I purchased back in 2004 and I'm pretty sure I have one day left since they were "no expiration". Is there any way at all I might be able to check and see if there is still a day left? Any help would be appreciated.

I just came across the same situation with tickets I purchase in May (have gone 2 times since) and can't remember days left.I called Disney and their response was you have to do it in the parks at a guest relation office.I laughed at the answer and said you have got to be kidding...right. Nope she was serious and told me to have a magical day.....yeah right.

UGHH!! now that is silly. LOL Since I live in NY, I can't imagine going down to find out there are NO days left:lmao: I'ld hate that for sure.

Sorry, but that is correct. You can only find out if you have days remaining in person at the Guest Services offices at the Parks, Downtown Disney, and I belive maybe at the resorts.

You will just have to take your trip and plan to check them this time and use them next time, or to buy new tickets if you do not have enough days left. You can also apply the value of them towards new tickets, but the way I understand it the math is pretty fuzzy on that and it is probably cheaper to just use them as is and buy new tix. Especially if they only have a day or 2 on them.

I think this is silly too but it makes sense economically for Disney. Because if you think you have days left, you are more likely to book a trip. If you get there and you don't have any days left, since you're already there, you're more likely to buy more tickets and food and you've already booked a hotel. I doubt they'll change that part of the system any time soon, unfortunately.

anyone going down there soon that you'd trust to check your tix? That's the *easiest* solution w/o going down yourself.

I am having this same issue. We are heading down in December, and I have "paper" tickets from 2000. I'm not sure if there are 1 or 2 days left on them. I am trying to book a package right now, and not sure how many days to purchase.

i had a similar situation. i tried to have the ticket checked at the disney store, since they sell tickets. but they couldn't do it.

it's kind of dumb of them, because you're right, you don't know what package to buy.

i wound up using these tickets (turns out i had 2 days left) when i went down without my kids to meet my DH on a business trip.

i was able to check at the hotel (the dolphin), and they were able to tell me how many days and that they were park hoppers.

but i think it's better to buy new tickets and use them, then when you come back use the old ones, since the tickets just keep rising in price.

i guess it helps disney make more money since you have to be there to find out what's left.

I had 2 park hoppers with 1 day left on each of them from a prior visit. My friend from work was going down to visit her sister in FL and just wanted to go to Disney for one day. So, I sold her my tickets for $50 each, regular at the gate price for a one day is $71.00. Now, I am putting that $100.00 towards the cost of my Thanksgiving trip and I saved her $42.00!! It was a win-win situation for us, since I will probably never go for just one day!

But was your friend able to use the ticket at all. I thought that's why they scanned your finger; so that the first person to use the ticket was the only one who could.

the tickets i had were from 2002 or 03. they didn't have the finger scanners then. so i could've given them to anyone. not anymore though.
