Park Hopper Ticket Question

I am debating on where to buy the Park Hopper ticket. We will be there for 4 nights. We arrive on a Tuesday late and leave on a Saturday so we probably will only go to DisneyLand on Wed/Thurs/Fri.

We are a AAA member and I can get the 5 day park hopper for 129 for adults and 99 for children with free parking

OR

I signed up for hotwiresavings and I could get the 3 day park hopper for 111. However, it says nothing about free parking.

I really only need it for 3 days and most likely will go with hotwire. Do they charge shipping? Do you see any reason I should go with AAA instead of hotwire?

Well.... the AAA pass gives you 2 extra days for only $18 more. The extra 2 days never expire so if you think you will be going back you may consider the AAA pass. Your next trip one person could buy a 4-day hopper and the other person could use the remaining days on the old hoppers.

My guess would be that the hotwiresavings pass does NOT come with free parking. If that is the case you will do better with AAA if it includes the parking.

I believe that all park hoppers come with free parking. It is not dependent on where you purchase them. However, WOW 5 days for $129 holy cow. I just bought 6 days for $272.

Hotwire does not have 3 day ph's that I can find. I've never heard that there is free parking with Ph's either. I would love it if there was.
Are AAA prices really that low? It would have been worth it for us to join if that price is right!

I have never heard of AAA giving "free" parking. They give the preferred parking pass to park in the AAA designated parking spaces at the lot, but you still have to pay the $8 a day for parking. (we only used the AAA spaces a couple of times, they seemed to be further away. I guess it depends on the crowds).
I bought the 5 day hoppers through AAA at the beginning of this year, and they did not offer free parking then, just the AAA parking pass to park in their spaces. Unless things changed (which I have not heard), there is no free parking.
Let us know!

Lisa is talking about DisneyLAND. Perhaps AAA gets you free parking there?

Yes, it does----in the Mickey & Friends structure. Not so for WDW.

Also, unlike WDW hoppers, all DLR hoppers *do* expire. Parking at DLR is $9/day (I think), so if you need parking all three days, the AAA ticket is a better deal.

For me, I'd rather drive and park than take a shuttle to DLR, even if it doesn't save time---I like not having to worry about when, exactly, my hotel shuttle runs. So, I'd go with the AAA tickets. If you are within walking distance, or prefer shuttles, the hotwire tickets are probably a better bet.

Thanks for all your help. I think you have talked me into going with AAA. I may just decide to stay an extra day and might need all 5 days.

Here is another question..........does it cost extra money to see Bear in Playhouse Disney thing they have or the Snow White thing they have or is that included in the price?

Lisa

Those shows are included.

You may want to post on the Disney Land website - the real experts are over there. Go to the forum home page and you will see a link.

I am glad you are going for more days - you can always use extra Disney days!!!
