If I have a park hopper ticket and I go to AK for the day. IF I want to leave AK an go back to the hotel and return later. Is that using 1 or 2 days off my ticket?

Thanks

With a PH you can and go to the same park or different parks on the same day and it only costs you one day.

So I can go to say:
AK
MGM
MK

all on the same day and only use 1 day of my ticket.

Sorry I have not been to Disney since I was 11 years old. SO I am trying to figure out the tickets.

I am buying hopefully 2 but for sure 1 7 day Hopper so I can use the other days on our next trip.

A park hopper is exactly what it states. You can hop from park to park on the same day and use only one day of your pass.
So, yes, you can go to Ak, MGM and MK and even Epcot iin the same day and use only one day.
If your next trip is within one year and you are going to buy 2 7 day hoppers, you might consider an annual pass. You may save money.

This may have been the most ridiculous question I have ever read here on the Dis.
I really think people don't think before they type.

Ouch! That was a little harsh, and not needed.
I was actually just sitting here and reading Disney4me's question and remembering when I had questions about the PH. People like to make sure they plan out their trips so they ask EVERY question, even if they THINK they know the answer... it always feels good to hear it from someone else. Yes, we are all entitled to our opinions, but let's be watchful of others. :earseek:

Pumpkin,
I'm not looking to offend anyone. But i've stopped looking at these boards for over a year because people ask the same questions over and over and over again. Simple ones that can be answered by simply reading your tickets name... Park Hopper!. Now i'm back and I see that nothing has changed.

OnlyHonesty, your comments are not appreciated and quite rude. These boards are intended for people to come and ask questions freely. If you think they are stupid, that is certainly your opinion; however, you if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Disney4me, please accept my apology. I think that you will find most of our posters are more than happy to share their knowledge of Disney without ridicule. Please don't let this incident deter you from posting :) :) :)

I think it is a GOOD thing that the same questions are being asked. This shows that new members are joining everyday, and as avid Disney enthusiasts, we all have the same concerns. The reason I decided to join this board area is because there are TONS of caring individuals who support one another...unlike many other boards that thrive on negativity.

By the way... it is pumpkinFISH. Thank you.

Just remember that if you leave the park and want to return, to get your hand stamped or you won't be able to get back in and you would have to use another day from your ticket.
Welcome to the boards!
Onlyhonesty must be having a bad day.
Let's offer him/her some pixie dust!!

also, in the same vein (as needing hand stamped) is that if you have park hopper PLUSSES, those cannot be "double used" in that if you use a plus to go to a water park and pleasure island on the same day, those are two plusses being used up, not one, even though it is the same day... this is where it gets confusing and i can totally understand a newbie needing help to get it all straight...

to the OP... ask away... (almost) all of us like answering questions whether they have been asked before or not! :)

Your questions are fine, ask away. One answer you got was totally rude and uncalled for.
It amazes me that they let incredibly rude people stay and ban helpful ones.

a ban is only a ban as long as it is a ban

as we all know there are ways of getting around bans

thus, helpful ones are not really banned, they just "reincarnate"

Whoaaaaa!

Who's been banned?...and why?

People are banned? Helpful people are banned?

I've never heard of this. I've never even heard of anyone being banned.

Anyone care to enlighten me?

Heads up - onlyhonesty has had some negative responses to another thread - Theme Park Attractions & Strategies. Not sure what is going on.

Hey, I am glad to hear your questions!! Before I found these boards I was buying park tickets AT THE GATE every day!! Everyone starts out without much knowledge and gains it through the generosity of others. I LOVE these boards.

Pixie dust all around!!

:teeth:

Yeah! Three cheers for banning uncalledfor rudeness! ...............P:cheer2:

YES!

High five to Dagny! :Pinkbounc

It is so sad. I don't want to make this thread about OH, but I don't understand why people have to be so negative with their opinions. I feel like this site is a family and I love that. Keep hope alive with the positivity!

Good info on the pluses on passes. I actually never knew that!

Once upon a time, I was new to the DIS boards, and I know I asked a lot of "old" questions - except they weren't "old" to me. Now I'm a "veteran" - and even own DVC - and I welcome newbies and the chance to help them out.

Plus, even I still learn new things here ;) :p ;) .

All the DIS boards need to have newcomers - keep the questions coming!
