does anyone know if we get the UPH discount on a pass for only 2 or 3 days? We will be checking in at midnight on dec. 17 and leaving mid afternoon Dec. 21. We also want to do one of the days at Universal this time around since we've never been there? I know you can ask to have days taken off the UPH due to early check out or late check in times, but don't see price quotes for this or if discount applies for hopper passes for only 2 or 3 days. Have any of you ever done this scenario?

Our other question is can you still convert to an annual pass if we still have a plus feature(s) on our tix from our June trip just a few months ago? How do I do this or where do I call to find out?

Thanks.

Going home again unexpectedly and CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Based on your check in and check out dates, you can probably get the 10% DVC discount on a 2 night/3 day UPH ticket. You'll have to buy the UPH tickets at check in and hope that the CM will allow you to drop the first day and the last day of your stay. THe UPH will be good on 12/18, 12/19 and 12/20. that's the only way I can see to do UPH tickets for your stay.

FYI: There aren't any DVC discounts on park hopper or park hopper plus tickets, just the Ultimate Park Hopper (formerly known as the Length of Stay pass).

Here's a link to ticket prices:

Deduct 10% from the price of the 2 night/3 day UPH ticket to see how much you would pay after the DVC discount is applied.

You can get a dollar credit for any unused major park days on your old PHP ticket that can be applied to the purchase of a new AP or PAP. You will not gt any credit for unused plus options. Check out this link for more info on getting $$ credit or upgrading tickets:

THis is one of those times I think a 4 day hopper would be a better value. You can save the days to use another trip. Maybe even for a guest.

While the actual rules say you'd have to buy day of check in and check out, they usually will allow you to omit both of those and thus buy the 3 day/2 night passes. As for trading in, I don't think they give you much value for the plus options. Also, remember if you trade in ANY ticket, they give you the prorated amount of what you actually paid, not the current price. For tickets you've had for a while, it could be quite a bad deal. You may be better off buying a pass they won't expire and saving the extra days. Maybe spending one of the days using the plus options you still have, shopping, exploring resorts and the like. I'd only do the UMP if you plan to hit multiple options in multiple days.

I just bought a three day hopper plus (with 1 extra {waterpark or pleasure island etc.}) through alamo rental car for $168.00. That way you can use it later if you don't use all of it. Good luck.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I was directed to another site that offers a 2 day park hopper with disney quest or PI access but expires 10 days from first use. We may go with this option since we want one of our days to be at universal, then maybe use the DQ option for our checkout day since we'll be at OKW-just a boat or bus ride away.

Thanks for all the help!

Michelle
