park hop or not

if you do not get the park hop tickets can you go in and out of the park you choose for that day if staying at a Disney Resort

I believe you can go in and out of the park you choose but you cannot go into parks other than the one that you chose for that day. I always hop so I'm not 100% sure on that answer but I believe that's how it works. Readmission is okay as long as it's at the same park.

Hopefully someone with more experience will be along soon to clarify!

As long as you get your hand stamped and have the ticket that got you into a particular park, you can go out and back in to that one park as many times during the day as you want if you do not have a "park hopper" ticket. It does not matter if you are staying on property or not.

Also, if you are driving the receipt you get when going into the parking lot will allow you free return to any of the park parking lots on that day with no additional charge.
