Park entry for Tusker House

We have breakfast reservations at 800 at Tusker House. Just wondering what the protocol was for getting into the AK since they will not be open.

Any comments on this new character breakfast

there is a special entrance for breakfast at the turnstile. it has been to the far right. be sure to have your confirmation number w/you. this is actually just a new location for donald's w/some african-flair foods added. enjoy

Usually there's a sign over a set of turnstiles that says something about Breakfast Entry.

We enjoyed our breakfast at Tusker House, but we probably won't be doing any more character meals until we have kids, because we've noticed that the food at Buffets isn't really that great, at least less so than other places.

Another great thing about getting in before opening is the opportunity to get a few photos sans people in the background. Its so cool to see the parks empty.

We really enjoyed our 8:05 breakfast there.

They have a list of people with reservations and you need to be on the list to get through the turnstyles before they open. THis was a little slower than I had expected so we were close to being late for our ressie. I think there was some confusion with a Brizilan tour group, so it might not always be so slow. Just something to consider.
We took the bus from our resort, but I saw cars in the parking lot so I know you can get in at that time too.

We really enjoyed it! Be warned, they will take your picture with Donald to sell to your during b/fast. It was approx $31 for 1 8x10 and 4 4x6's, plus a signed photo of the 4 characters at the b/fast.

We have an 8:10AM ressie at the Tusker House and I had been wondering what we do when we are done. How much freedom do you get to take pictures of the empty park?

Thanks everyone for the information! I would imagine that there is very little restrictions in the way of pictures. We have gotten into other parks early for breakfast reservations and never been restricted except for the rides and shows that are not yet open.

Yes, you must have a park ticket to enter the park for breakfast!

The park opens at 9, I doubt you'll be done by then. Character b/fasts take longer as you have to wait for the characters. We average about an hour.

Yes you need a park ticket to get in any resturants in any parks no matter what time it is.

As many times as we've been to WDW, we've never done a park breakfast, but I've scheduled several this trip, and we will not have a vehicle. Anyone know how early they run the Character Breakfast buses? Also, do they run one for the breakfasts at 1900 Park Faire and Chef Mickey's too or only parks?
