Where on the internet do I find out when the park closes early?
We are there Oct 2-6 (leaving on the 7th) and I read on another thread that the park will close early on the 6th??

Where are people finding out this info.... :confused3

Thanks!!

I believe that post about the 6th was incorrect.

The park will close early on the 3rd for the Halloween Party that evening. Probably at 6pm. In reality on that offseason day if the party wasn't happening it would close at 8pm anyway so you are just loosing a couple hours. Also it may open an hour earlier than normal so you are just loosing 1 hour.

We will be attending the Party on the 3rd :cool1: so we are happy about that...
I do hope that what was mentioned about the 6th is incorrect.

We were guessing the park would close anywhere between 8-10pm anyway, so no worries if I does close at 8pm.... just am glad that it's hopefully not closing at 5 or 6 :)

Where do you guys get the info for hours this far in advance?? I checked the DL calendar online (DL website) and it will go only through to mid-Sept for me.

Thanks!!

It comes from years past. The hours for the Halloween Party are on the dl.com page regarding the party. But the rest are truly just a guess based off what happened last year, so of course this year could be different we won't know for sure until the official calendar advances to those days.

Yeah, I am guessing that since mid-Sept that is up on the calendar shows closing at 8pm during the week that our hours will be the same in Oct.
We may get a longer night of hours on the Sunday we arrive, which would be nice... but it's all good! Happy to be going!!

Sunday as a weekend day will have longer hours and Fireworks and F! scheduled. DL will probably close at 11pm or 12am.

There are rumors...and there are suspected early close dates based on known private parties. DL is sometimes taken over for late-night parties and may close slightly earlier to allow them to clear the park. And example on the current calendar is Sept 8th. Future suspects include the advertised events for Verizon (Sept 22) and Microsoft SharePoint (Oct 4th). Nothing is confirmed until the real hours are posted though, so you can hold out hope for your dates!

So do they not do fireworks on weekDAY evenings? Like early before 8pm??

Am hoping they don't close early on the 4th of Oct. That would kinda suck for most people who have to face an early closure on the 3rd and then the 4th as well (unless attending the Halloween Party on the 3rd).

I guess it's just a waiting game....

No they don't, though WoC has played evernight since it opened last summer it may not either.

Fireworks and F! play on busy nights and every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But through the offseason get the weekends only.

Within a week the DL.com calendar should show us the first week of offseason that happens in September and you will be able to see what the hours and entertainment look like. It won't mean it will be the same as your visit, but probably will be really close.
