We have 5 day hoppers for June. I made reservations but then added dining res and found out Grad nights are 4 out of our 5 days.
Right now I have:
DL(Tues) Grad night
DCA(Weds) Grad night
DL(Thurs) WOC Dessert party
DCA (Fri) Grad night
DL (Sat) Grad night.

Any suggestions or things you would change? I'm thinking of starting Tuesday at DCA but then second guess things.

I'm not too worried about grad nites other than DL will be busier in the evening when the hopper crowd shifts from DCA over, but DCA closes earlier than DL even on regular nights, so I'm not sure how much it'll really be impacted. I'm a bit hopeful that daytime in DCA will be less crowded as one-park tickets might avoid DCA on grad nites.

Hopefully it'll all work out!

How early does the park close on Grad nights to regular guests?

Also, is World of Color shown on those nights?

Some of the grad night party attendees will have access to both parks, but not all.

There are three levels of party tickets. The least expensive is for just the party. The middle tier of tickets allows admission only to DCA during the day and the party. The most expensive tickets are hoppers and these are the grads you'll see in DL during the day.

Most of the grads won's be arriving until midday and if they have hoppers, they will be concentrated at the thrill rides and in Galaxy's Edge so if these are the attractions you want to ride, do them in the morning.

DL gets busier in the evening as guests with hoppers will be leaving DCA and finishing their night in DL. This was the most noticeable thing about being at DL on a day when there's a party scheduled.

This thread made me remember Grad Nite 1976 at Redlands High School. They bussed us in and I think it went from 10-2. The most popular ride was Monsanto Adventure Through Inner Space, which they finally closed for the night. Girls were required to wear nice pant suits, and boys could not be in jeans.
