Park Days - Days of Week??

Going to Disney April 9 - 16. Between having to make park reservations and shortened park hours my typical planning is throwing me for a loop.
I know that more than likely MK and HS will be busiest on the weekends. Are there patterns showing which parks are best on which days as far as crowds?

Also, we like to park hop in later afternoon/evenings - what is likelihood that we won't be able to park hop to say HS or MK because parks will be full. (April 9-16). And what happens if we have a dining reservation in a park that we want to hop to but can't if the park is full.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

There are still crowd calendars floating around out there, but IMO they are pretty useless now that there are no EMH or special events. My advice is always to avoid Epcot on Fridays and Saturdays, and some people will say that Monday and Saturday are generally the busiest for MK. Other than that, I say do what works for you.

As far as park reservations, it seems that DHS and MK tend to fill up first. You can only hop if the park is not at capacity (even if you have a dining reservation, it does not guarantee access). Disney "recommends" that you only make ADRs for a park you have a reservation for. However, I'm pretty sure they would not charge you a cancellation fee if you found yourself in that situation (though not guaranteed I suppose). Epcot is probably safest in terms of unlikely to fill up for hopping due to it having such a high capacity.
