Our trip is soon approaching, we have a 1 night Pop/6 night off site stay starting 3/27. We will be doing 3 days of parks with our just turned 2 year old son. I'm thinking we will be doing 2 MK days but not sure which park for the 3rd day. We aren't planning on doing all the days consecutively. There are a few attractions at each park that are "must sees" but overall none of the other parks are a clear winner. Which park would you spend the 3rd day at?

We love animals, so AK would be a must for us. Most toddlers enjoy the animals too, so that's my vote. :goodvibes

I don't know... Had similar thoughts about what to choose for day 3.
We ruled out animal Kingdom... Just seems to much like a zoo... Now if my kids would love animals.. Maybe... Or if we had additional days... Maybe... That's just my 2 cent... Happy planning...

We loved Animal Kingdom, it's different than a zoo BUT some of our favorite rides there had height restrictions so it probably wouldn't be the favorite park of a 2 year old ;)
Hollywood Studios has the Disney Jr. characters. It is the only park with them if your little one is into Disney Jr yet.
Epcot might be fun, but more for you two than your 2 year old. Though there are coloring stations in each of the countries.
Just depends on personal preference really. If we were only bringing our 2 year old and were doing Magic Kingdom 2 days I would choose Epcot for the 3rd...just be prepared with things for to occupy him just in case. He won't remember it but you will ;)

Animal Kingdom.

I'd personally do one day at MK, then a day at AK then back to MK. AK is a more relaxing park. You wander around at your pace. The two shows are really good. Make sure you get a ride on the safari. There's Triceratop Spin (like Dumbo). There is plenty to do to fill your day. I've taken both my nieces and AK is our second favorite park after MK.

If you don't have your own preference, then AK. But if you (the parents) would like to do Epcot for Flower & Garden, I think that would also work well. There will be extra play areas due to F&G (and is the butterfly house back this year?), and at age 2.5 my son loved all the performers, the Nemo ride, the ride in Mexico, the miniature train display in Germany, etc.

I would do one day at Epcot. It has always been a favorite of our boys and an adult favorite too. Two days at MK seens reasonable too. One thing I would for sure do is to be sure that one of the MK days is while you are on site as taking the bus to MK is much easier than driving and having to take additional transportation to the park.

I would do 2 days at MK and then HS. At 2, my DS LOVED Toy Story Mania and Disney Jr. Live on Stage. HS also has several other shows and lots of characters. He enjoyed AK at that age, I just don't think quite as much- there's one ride for that age, the Safari, the train to the planet watch, and shows and characters. Either way, I'm sure he'll have fun!

There is also Triceratop Spin at AK. DHS only has TSMM (for small children) and that is a nightmare to get on. DHS is our least favorite park.

I'm glad I've never had to skip parks at WDW. My shortest trip still left us with at least a day in each.

If I was doing 3 days at the parks Id do 1 at Epcot, 1 at AK and 1 at MK.. My older two LOVED Epcot (last visit they were 5, 3.. My son was not even 1, he enjoyed anything that included food), they can't wait to go back. AK is a family favorite and it just wouldn't be a trip without visiting MK at least 1 day.

Of course my little ones LOVE MK, but their second favorite are the rides at Epcot. Mine would rather go for rides over just seeing animals.

You can't go wrong with any park, but at that age, my children enjoy HS. The Disney Jr Live Onstage, Little Mermaid ride/show, TSMM, And Muppet 3D are must do's for us. There are also opportunities to meet lots of Disney Jr and Pixar characters.

For me, I wouldn't do AK. I just don't enjoy it. Honestly we can go to Beardsley zoo in CT or the roger Williams zoo in RI and see more animals at a. More relaxed pace because we aren't waiting in line for a ride.

There is a lot of walking from ride to ride/land to land. I feel like we have to back track to go anywhere. Plus I think it is the hottest park.

I prefer Epcot. My kids actually like it which works for me. They love turtle time, most of the rides in future world as well. My soon to be 8 yo (my youngest of 3) finally got to ride test track and soarin.

They love the character meet and greets as well.

We have done the masks in the past as well as the passports. It we skipped both in August.

They love illuminations...ok it was forced on them at an early age to love it.

I guess I would say look at the parks, see what your 2 yo would like and go from there. Look at ride restrictions as well.

I can tell you I wouldn't waste a day at AK or DHS but that is me. I am hoping on our next trip with the fast passes that I can plan both those parks for 1 day and be done with them and then we can spend the rest of the time at our favorite parks-MK & Epcot.
