I'm going Dec. 3 through 11, how are crowds at the parks? The Unofficial guide says they are at the lowest all year, but I want your expert opinions!!!
I was there last year from Dec 7-13th and there was practically no one there. We only used fastpases twice. Once for Ariel's show at MGM and one for Peter Pan, which was inexplicably crowded.
Other wait times were no longer than 10 minutes. More often than not, we practically walked onto most of the rides.
My family has always gone that time of the year for this reason. Was telling my hubby that next time I want to go in late October, becuase I've never seen WDW *without* the Christmas decorations. Ha Ha!
Bizarra I am envious. I have never seen WDW "with" the decorations. Going for the first December trip this year and can't wait. But I agree you do need to go at other times to see the difference. It is really lovely the rest of the year too. And Oct is a good time to go. Also tends to be less crowded.
I hope you all have a great time in Early Dec. We are going 12/17 to 12/22. So we will probably run into big crowds. But this was the only time I could sched in Dec and I REALLY want to see those decorations.
cranbiz- we'll be there from 12/5-12/11 too! We're staying at POFQ. Can't wait to experience the low crowds and MVMCP for the first time!!! I think a lot of disers will be there that week!
Will dec. ever get here????
I've gone the first or second week of December the past 6 years. Crowds are not bad. One exception I've found is MK is crowded on a weekday when they run Spectro at night, usually Wednesday. If you want to see Spectro, just go at night.
