park advice for November stay

Our family of four with kids 6 and 9 will visit MK and AK on single day park passes in mid November. We will stay at AKL arriving Sunday and departing Friday.
I've read conflicting advice on whether to take advantage of extra magic hours and if so am versus pm. Since we can't hop to another park, we want to avoid crowds and have read the parks with early hours get v. busy by midmorning. However, we will be there at a less busy time, so I guess my question is: how much busier will the parks with extra hours be in midweek November, should I avoid them or not?
Also any suggestions for fun affordable activities at WDW outside the parks
would be much appreciated! We will have a car. Thanks from a complete rookie! Grace

I have never been in November but I don't think you will have anything to worry about. I don't think the crowds will be that bad. I would take advantage of the EMH. Like I said though, we have never been in December. Have fun!!!

I don't think you'll have a crowd problem going to a park on it's emh day as long as you are avoiding Thanksgiving weekend. November is a great time to go!

Exactly what day will you be there, and what is your preference in parks (there are several Disney and outside events that may affect park crowds, depending on the park and the exact date)
