i'm trying to figure out whcih option is better for us. Can any of y'all point me toward the current prices for the Carte Orange (5 zone) and Paris Visite (5 zone)?

Are there other transportation options given that we intend to go into Paris several times during our visit?

I was wondering something similar, though I thought I remember reading somewhere that a mobilis works out cheapest? We intend on going to the Auchan on two days that we are there, do they do like a family 2 day pass mid week??

There was this thread here a little while ago and there is a link in the Useful Info Sticky under "Travel to DLP by Train" where you can compare the different prices. :)

You would only need a Mobilis pass to visit Auchan, Eemaan.

I stay in Paris and visit DLP from there (though I think it'd be fun next time to stay at the DL hotel for a couple of nights too). I actually time my visits to coincide now with the Carte Orange - I ended up going to the DLP twice with mine this trip, so it was even a greater value.

But it isn't for everyone. If you are going to be heading to Paris a number of times, and your stay covers much of Monday through Sunday, then it very well might be.

hi there i am also looking for a wee bit of advice have read the other threads and they have been helpul but i need someone with a wee bit of experience..............here we go -buy individual rer tickets or carte orange as per itinery as follows arrive on a wednesday porte maillot-bussy saint georges-onto dlp and return to bussy

every day we will be travelling between bussy and dlp sometimes stopping via val de europe

i know it would only be valid until sunday but we are only there till tuesday so single tickets those days -2 kids 3&4 so excempt from fares 2 adults (will bring passport pics) so here is my question do i buy carte orange zones 1-5 i think 31.5 euro or buy just zone 5 14.60 euro basically what will be cheaper for us if you get my jist if i have not confused you more than myself reading this ........i feel i need bavaria for this one but anyone more knowkedgeable than me is a step in the right direction thanks in advance:confused:

If you are travelling within zone 5 then you will only need tickets for this. But if you're travelling within the other zones then you will need tickets that cover these.
