Paris schools

My research says the children are out of school on Wednesday but wanted to check with my real experts first.

How much effect does it have on the crowds? Right now we have our hotel ressie but it does start on a Wednesday because of the 9th being a blackout.

I also thought Paris schools tended to have every Wednesday off, it's never made a noticeably impact on wait times or crowd levels for me. I guess if they have every Wednesday you don't have the added issue of people bombing to the parks on one set date.

Monday - Thursday are generally the quietest days in the parks (except for in school holidays). I've never noticed it being any busier on a Wednesday than the others.

I'm sure I've been told before they generally only have Wednesday PM off in some areas, I'm sure Carrie will be able to confirm!

Thank you. I have the hotel booked but then noticed that 9 June is a blackout date. So we have to push it back yet another day.
