Can anyone give me a recommendation for a hotel/holiday apartment for a family of 6 (one under the age of one)? We will be visiting Paris next year for some work and meetings and we need to submit our budget for next year soon so any help/recommendations are appreciated. :) Also, can anyone give me an approx. amount to budget for food per day for an adult and/or child? Thanks in advance for your help!

All depends where you want to be in Paris and for how long.

Are you are talking central Paris or suburbs ?

Hotel rooms are (generally) small and for 6 people you would need 2 rooms which would push the cost up. Unless you find a hotel that has like junior suites for exemple

There are chains that rent serviced appartments such as Citadines
http://www.citadines.com/ as well as dozens of private rental companies that have a vast range of prices and choice.

If you have a appartment you would be able to keep your food costs low(er) and eat well as you could buy fresh produce from the markets as well as bakers/butchers/greengrocers/cheese and supermarket shopping

Again the cost of food will depend on which area you are living in as the more touristy the area the higher the price of everything :)

It might not be your thing but I have booked a Eurocamp (2 options in Paris) which have caravans for 6 people and plenty of space to your kids noise isnt a worry to you (coming from a parent of 3 myself hehe)... And I have booked 5 days at the Thomas Cook Explorers Hotel on the Disney site itself which have rooms for 4/6/10 all with interlinking doors!
