Hi everyone, I've already posted a couple of questions, but I've come back to pester you some more . I'm hoping to visit DLP about September time with my feller and my mother. He's never been to Paris before, so wants to take some time to explore the city while we're there too. We were planning to stay on Disney property and take a couple of day trips to Paris, but now are thinking of staying in Paris for a couple of days, then moving onto Disney property afterwards. Has anyone ever done this, and if so, do you have any suggestions of how to handle it / what to do / what not to do? Does this save money (lower transportation costs for day trips, not paying for unused days through room and ticket packages etc.) or does it work out as costing more? Also, if anyone has any experience of Paris in a wheelchair, I'd love tips (I'm partially mobile, but need the chair for any real distance).

TIA guys! :thumbsup2

I don't know anything about staying in Paris itself, but I would assume that a split stay would work out cheaper for the reasons you suggest.

Hopefully somebody else will offer more useful advice!!

We've done this. I would pack light, and expect to lose 1/2 day when checking out/checking in.

Thanks guys. Plans may be in the process of changing, everything's up in the air (but not in a bad way), but I'm sure the information will come in handy sooner or later! :thumbsup2

Disney parks and hotels isolate you from the outside world, n'est ce pas? Seems hard to experience Paris if you're isolated from the very place you want to experience. Of course, this would be equally true if you stay in a big Intercontinental or similar hotel.

A bientot.
