Paris day trips from DLP

Where can I find info on these? I am sure I read you can do an arranged Paris trip from DLP?

Just something we are toying with for a morning as Rosebug would love to see the Eiffel Tower (not going up it though. I am terrified of heights - unless it is a thrill ride!)

However if you're not planning on going up the Eiffel Tower it'll probably be much cheaper to go in by train DIY as the tour includes the Tower fee.

We're planning a day in Paris on our next trip. The more I research, the more I'm tempted to book this cityrama tour. Does anyone know how I can book - we booked the super ebookers deal and eurostar separate so I haven't got a direct booking with DLP. It maybe better for us as the brochure says under 12s go free up to April which would save us paying for DS.

It is very easy doing it yourself by train - you can buy a ticket which covers the whole journey.

Would thoroughly recommend getting off the Metro at the Trocadero as you get a fantastic view down to the Eiffel Tower

We're travelling with a toddler and buggy so I'm not sure I fancy the metro.

You can book the tour when you get to DLP through your hotel concierge.

Personally I'd rather do it on my own with a little one rather than with a coach trip, I think the latter will be too boring and you can then take it at your own pace.

We liked the coach trip, but I know a lot of people prefer to explore themselves. The main benefit of it turned out to be quick access to the Eiffel Tower. The tickets were included in the coach trip price and we were inside very quickly using a separate entrance. The queues outside were really long if you'd just walked up.

Not sure if this would be the case all the time though, we visited in summer.
