since our parents are paying for the majority of our wedding, we wanted to give them something fantastic, but we can't think of anything :headache: any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

How about Disney stock from ONeshare.com. You can get it with a little plaque and put a message on it. We did that for your groomsmen

mine arent that expensive but i think they they are nice.for the dads we got monogram cufflinks that are lockets and we ut baby pics inside. for the moms i am having there wedding bouquets remade and gien to them on the day of.

Something that I heard about and am thinking about doing is giving a digital photo frame and then load it with a memory chip of pictures from the wedding.

Similar to the digital frame idea, we made a photobook for my husbands parents from photoworks.com. They turn out really nice and this way they have a whole album of our wedding photos rather then just a couple framed ones on the wall.

I third the photo idea. Photos will mean the most to your parents. Make sure you design some small signs for you and your DH to hold during your wedding photography. One that says "Thank" and the other that says "You." It's a perfect way to end the collection of photos you give them.

I really like the digital photo frame idea too. There are supposed to be some killer deals on these on black friday. I imagine there will be great deals throughout the holiday season. I also looked into designing and ordering a photobook online until we decided on the following...

We're paying a bundle to have our photographer make one of her OUTSTANDING albums. Well, she offered a deal on miniature versions for our parents. They won't be bound in leather like ours, but they will be 6"x8", bound like a book with a faded full colored image as the hardcover, and perfect gifts for our parents. We actually need three of them since DF's parents are divorced. They are a little more expensive than doing the photobooks online and they are a little smaller, but the pages are thicker, the design will be unique, and I know they are going to be fantastic. I'm almost more excited to surprise them with these than I am to get our album after the wedding. Since we won't get them until 6 months after the wedding, in the meantime we are planning on choosing an engagement photo and framing it nicely for each set of parents. We will give it to them the day before the wedding.

thanks for the ideas ladies! photos would be a great thing to give them. my mother has a habit of stealing everyones pictures (seriously, she's clepto) and so df and i decided to pay for randy ourselves, this way the control is ours!!! his flush mount albums are expensive, but maybe we'll just bite the bullet and buy 2 more...

I like the idea of giving them something that they can only get at Disney (as this is what makes a Disney Wedding special!). My dad has always liked the idea of going on the Segways so my gift to my parents is a Segway tourand then meet them in Epcot for breakfast afterwards.

I also like the idea of getting them something they can only get a disney. Why dont you make a surprise reservation for them in Canada while we are all there and have the bill taken care of. You could have one nice picture of all of us framed for the house (maybe then they'll finally take down that ugly picture of us)

Another things you can do if you want to get them a nice surprise while they're at Disney is order a gift basket from disneyflorist.com
We did this for both sets of parents in addition to our other gifts.

We are going to be taking our parents out to dinner at Artist point followed by a Wishes fireworks cruise... not sure exactly what we will give them during dinner but just a small token of appreciation (we are paying for our wedding ourselves) and we will be doing the parent albums as part of our photography package.

My dad and step-mom play golf so we gave them the green fees for one of the resorts. For Leif's dad and step-mom we gave a Disney gift certificate. Leif's step-mom used it at the spa.

what do your parents like?

we treated my parents (they paid part) to the wilderness lodge for their visit during our dw & they were upgraded to a honeymoon suite when disney found out it was their 25th wedding anniversary. we also had some chocolate covered strawberries sent to their home.

we also got our parents individual gifts lockets for the moms, knife for my dad, stein for fil & golf stuff for sfil & parent wedding photo albums.
