Parent's Night out and Neverland club

Dh 3 and I are heading to the Poly with the buy 4 get 3 promotion. Since we are staying longer than usual we thought about putting the girls in the Neverland clud and going to one of the nicer restaurants for dinner. The girls are ages 5-11. Does anyone have any recs about where to eat and scheduling? Also how have your children responded to the neverland club?

We have 3 kids who were 4,8, and 9 last year when we went. We took them to the Sandcastle Club at the Yacht Club resort and went to Chefs de France in Epcot. We chose Sandcastle because it was the closest to the restaurant we wanted to go to. We just walked to the restaurant. In all we were only gone for 2 hours. The kids begged us to let them stay longer. It was one of the hightlights for them. For a full review see my blog post.

My kids are now 9 & 14 so the oldest has aged out of the Disney clubs and dh & I are really sad about that! They both really liked The Neverland Club and we used it several times. Dh & I would eat dinner at some place that was on the monorail so we didn't spend a lot of time (and $$) traveling to drop them off and then pick them up. For a while we ate right there at Kona Cafe and then shopped around or just hung out ALONE at the resort. But our favorite was dinner at The California Grill at The Contemporary.

Their other favorite club was Simba's Cubhouse at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and when they were there we ate at Jiko's and then just hung out in the amazing lobby and relaxed after dinner for a while - ALONE!

My daughter, who is now 20, still talks about the time she got to go to the Neverland Club - she was 4 at the time!!

My kids also begged to stay longer at Neverland. We did dinner at Kona and I'd agree that Cali Grill is great to. I'd say definitely give it a try. You'll all have a great evening.

Neverland club was a big hit with DS. And there are lots of choices in the area. We ate at Artist Point.

My then 7 yr old loved Neverland! I just asked her about now (9 1/2) and she said she remembers how much fun it was - all the pizza she wanted and video games that didn't need coins The 4 yr old cried when we dropped her off but then also cried when we picked her up LOL.

We had a wonderful meal at O'hanas after we dropped off the girls. Then, we picked up the girls in time for all of us to watch the fireworks at MK from the beach at the poly. Wonderful evening!

Because it is per hour, I decided to stay and eat at the Poly to save money (for travel time). I would highly recommend O'hana, we really enjoyed the meal.

My kids stayed at the Neverland Club last time we went, and we went out to the Yachtsman Steakhouse. We decided to drive that night so that we would have plenty of time. Ate dinner, walked on the boardwalk, went to Big River Grill for a beer, and got back an hour before they closed. The kids didn't want to leave! We ALL had a great evening.
