Parents help~ gross question Beware!

I need help~ my daughter has the flu bug and well you know vomitted ALL over the place~ not just a little alot~ we have it cleaned up but how do i get rid of the smell ~ I have scrubed and scrubed but I can still smell it. Any ideas out there? I cant go to sleep until this smell is gone~ of course my husband cant smell a thing and thinks i am smelling things, but I know what I smell. Thanks

Dan I have said before and I will say it again you da man Thank you so much~ Browneyes thank you too I have febreeze but I was afraid that would just mask the smell and I want it GONE. Yucky~ and thanks for the nice wish and she is feeling a little better. she is so sweet ,she said to us after she got sick, Mom I am so glad I have parents who care for me, breaks my heart thinking she was thinking I would get mad at her for getting sick, which she did, there is no way I would ever get mad, grossed out definately, but she will never know that thanks again.

My ds apologizes everytime he gets sick like that. Breaks my heart. I tell him it's ok, and I'll take care of it, but he's "I'm so sorry muma." My dd has had the flu 1 time. She laughed the whole time. She thought she was missing out on throwing up until she actually did it.

There are a couple of new sprays that claim to 'kill' the odor, not just mask them. I know Oust is one of them. I know there is a second one out there, but only saw the commercial once so I couldn't help you with the name. They claim to kill the germs in the air that cause the odors. Look at it this way, couldn't hurt!

I remember once when I was a teenager, my parents took 2 of my friends and me to Great Adventure for the day. On the way home, one of the girls got sick....all over the car!! The car had upolstery, not vinyl seats. The car totally stunk!! We never were able to totally kill that smell. Getting into the car in the middle of summer when the windows had been closed was nasty!!

the Baking soda worked great!!!!!! smell is all gone and I had it in my cabinet~ no need to run out and buy something~ Thanks Dan~ she is feeling alot better today. especially since she didnt have to go to school.
