My DD, 10 is trying to make anniversary plans for me and my DH. She wants me to give recommendations to her for what to do for us. I have no clue what to tell her.:confused3  I have been 13 times to Disney, but never celebrated an anniversary. Does anyone know what I can tell her. Obviously, I'm paying for everything, so there is no money limit. (Unless it's insane!) Anyway, I would like to tell her but I don't know what. Anyone have any ideas?

How about an illuminations or wishes cruise? I've never done either, but I'd like to someday.

How about dinner and a really good aniversary cake that maybe we can from the bakery. My DD wants a huge cake for us but, does anyone know a good cake that's under $40. Can people list pictures of cakes?

There is a thread somewhere on these boards about cakes..maybe on the restaurant thread?

Welcome to the DIS meekymouse.

You can probably find information about dining and birthday cakes on the restaurant forum.

I'd bet an illuminations cruise would be very nice. I've never done 1 but would love to some day.

How about Lunch or Dinner at coral Reef with the Diving Sign and Menu, It's Free and can say Happy Anniversary with your names and the Menu they personalize too with Pic's you can email them.

First, I just want to say how sweet your DD is. That is so nice of her to want to do something special for you and DH. I like all of the suggestions already made. I would just add maybe a horse-drawn carriage ride. DH and I took the sleigh ride in December and it was very nice. Or how about a behind the scenes tour? I like the cake idea also. Maybe give her some suggestions of your favorite restaurants and give her the phone number to order a cake - she can pick the flavor and style as a surprise. Good luck!
