I was wondering if anyone on these boards has parasailed at the contemperary resort in Disney before? If so was it worth the price? Can you see all the parks from the air? Any info would be great!

DH and DD did the tandem in April of 04 and had a great time. She was 8 at the time and loved her first parasail. Dh who has parasailed at the beach also enjoyed the "ride" . We were on the old silver package so we used "wishes" but the price seemed in line with what he paid at Surfside Beach SC a few years ago. The entire experience was very well run (I waited on the dock of the Contemporary while they were out).

I don't think they could see inside the park.

We've parasailed several times at the Contemporary - each time included in the premium package. You can see the parks if you look for the larger monuments (epcot ball, earful tower, etc). Since it's close to the MK you can see a bit more of it. In general its just a beautiful view of the surrounding area. I think it would have been about $200 total for us to each go up by ourselves.

My Wife has always wanted to Parasail at Disney so last year I surprised her she did at the CR. I got to ride in the boat and take pictures, there was also two other girls going up tandem. We stayed out on the water about 30 minutes and the CM's(two young men) were really great. She enjoyed it a lot and said she could see all over. She was pretty high up. The cost was $ 85.00 + tax.
