Does anyone know what MPH the winds have to be for them to Cancel Trip ? Rain ?

Are you talking about Castaway Cay? No idea. It is unlikely you'll know the wind speed when you are at the island anyway, just that your excursion will be cancelled. It isn't exactly an excursion they do in the rain either. I can't imagine being pelted with rain at 15-20 which is an approximation of the speed they tow you at. Not to mention any possibility of lightning.

Have you ever ridden Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the rain -- now that's an experience. One time the afternoon downpour came and we stayed in the covered part of the Queue of BTTMR until it stopped. Then wound down to the loading area and got on, and when we were back outside, it had started raining again. Not real hard, but they were still raindrops of the larger size. There was a lot of "ouch, ouch, ouch .... OUCH" going on during that ride. Didn't get soaked, felt like I got bruised but didn't.

DS and DW have parasailed at CC and their description of it is ---- Quiet! and pretty calm. Now if you are up there in the rain, that probably would be a different story.

I'm not sure the last time I was in the parks during rain. We have been really fortunate with all of our travel plans the last few years. But yikes, take that Big Thunder Mountain and upscale to Everest!

Not sure about CC, but one time at the Contemporary Hotel at WDW parasailing trip, the boat captain said 20 mph was the limit there...

It's more about how choppy the water gets. They can't keep the boat still enough when the water is choppy.
