Today we prebooked parasailing at Castaway Cay for our July trip(yay!:D ). The CM told us we had up to 3 days before the cruise to cancel it. If not, we would be charged for it whether we did it or not. This made sense at the time but then I thought... What if we dont make it to Castaway Cay? Or what if they decide its too windy to go up? We wont still get charged if its beyond our control, will we? I wouldnt think we would, but it almost sounded like no matter what we would get charged.
Anyone have firsthand experience with this?

If the ship cannot dock at CC, you will not be charged for excursions booked for that day. In fact, they (Disney) are known for giving out free wine at dinner on the nights when they can't dock at CC ! :)

Personally I'd much rather have a day at CC than free wine, but in any case, don't worry about paying for excursions you can't take - won't happen.

'Beano'

I was gald to read this post cause I had the same questions. I'm booked for 5/18/02 at Castaway Cay what if the ship docks but the weather is bad for Parasailing. DO you get charged then?

Thanks
Judy
