parasailing question on cc

dd 16 is going at 10 am how long will she be out there does she wait for all pasengers to ride? when should we expect her back ? do we have time to get a spot on beach? or just wait for her?

Have you checked with DCL to see if a 16 year old can go without an adult? I thought minors had to be accompanied for insurance reasons.

There will be about 6 to 8 people on the boat with her, she will have to wait until everyone has parasailed to come back ashore, it takes about 45 minutes once you are out on the water and the chute is set up.
You can see which chute color her boat has (there were 2 last August) and watch the skies for their progress. That way you will have some idea of when they are done and heading in.

I'm sorry 45 minutes total. About 5 or 6 minutes of chute time per person. WHich is more than enough time to enjoy the ride and the view.

Can non parasailers go on the boat to watch?

My daughter has been parasailing twice at Castaway Cay. Once when she was 15 and once when she was 16. I signed her up when we got to Castaway Cay, signed the release since she wasn't 18...and each time I was laying on the beach when she sailed.

Well, I guess you could go, but it will cost you $70 for the ride and show.

Not worth it. I went up last year and can't wait to tandem with DD8 in November. If you want to watch from the boat you might as well go up. It is incredible and you'll never regret it.
