Hi everyone:D

My name is Alisa and I guess I should first say a big " Thank You!" to everyone here. You all have the best board for information! I am planning a 14-17 day trip for our family for Dec '03 and I really wondering about those 30 day passes from Paramount. Can U.S. residents use them? Do they have your name on them? Do we have to show I.D. with them at the gate? Can they be passed on to someone else to use in the 30 day time frame? If anyone has answers/thoughts to any of those questions I would be very happy to hear them! I hope you all don't mind if I hang around for the next 7 months and obbsess, :teeth:

Thank you!! Alisa

I recently bought three 30 day passes and they are vouchers. You exchange them at guest services at any WDW park. You have to show a picture ID when you exchange them. I don't see how you could pass them onto someone else to use up the 30 days. Possibly you use biometrics with this pass like the 10 day pass offered by paramount. We used the 10 day pass in Dec and did not have any problems. Hope this helps and welcome to the DIS.

Thank you Muffy :D

That does help! I think I'll just plan on the 10 day World pass then. Still a great bargain. Um, not to be too dense but "biometrics", is that a fingerprint?

Yes, finger scan
Remember that the 10 day pass is $40 more per ticket than the 30 day pass. Not sure why the 10 day pass is more expensive?

Actually the 30 day passes, even after the 10 day were allowed to be sold to US residents, were not supposed to be sold to US. They were still supposed to be restricted to Europe, etc. I know people have been able to get them and use them, however, when we tried to order, we were only able to order the 10 day pass.
