Has anyone ever ate here? It looks interesting from the menus I have seen.

Yes, very good, def give it a go.

Be careful, I got drunk from one Marg (I'm a lightweight), before we sat down to eat.

We ate there last summer. The food was very good, however the portions were much smaller than I'm used to at other Disney restaurants. The smaller portion size didn't bother me, but the smaller portions didn't come with smaller prices. Basically I was paying what I'm used to, but wasn't getting as much food.

We tried this for the first time last week, but we just ate at the bar. We kept it simple with a burger and nachos with the dipping trio, and enjoyed it very much. They made a good drink there too.

We've eaten lunch there about 6 times now. Always eat at the bar. As noted, portion sizes are smaller than what you might expect, but if you stick with basics like the hamburger, nachos, etc, it's pretty good. Their pulled pork is very good and they have a four icecream cone dessert we always get.
The beer, by the way, is as cold as advertised!!

I actually started a thread a while back and got really good feedback so we made a ressie at Paradiso for our arrival night! I'm really excited about trying it out, we usually eat at Planet Hollywood on arrival night so I hope breaking tradition works in our favor!

We ate there a couple of weeks ago on our last trip. We had a table on the back deck overlooking the water - very relaxing dinner and beautiful at sunset! I agree the portions were not huge, but the food was good! It might be a better place for drinks and appetizers only? The good thing was that there was no wait to get in!

I'll be the lone dissenter, so far. We ate there back in January, and had some of the worst service we've had in any of the restaurants we've ever eaten at in WDW. I don't think our waitress was very good at being a waitress, though. She seemed pretty new to the job.

Brushing that aside, the food wasn't worth the price. I'd compare it in quality to a Tex-Mex version of Fridays. That the food costs twice as much is not an ringing endorsement.

How does Paradiso compare to Raglan Road? I understand that the offerings are completely different. But which is tastier, better service, etc...? We have an ADR at RR but had tossed around going to Paradiso instead. Will have DD13, DS10, and DS6 along.

Or maybe we should just go CS at E of S. I hear such great things about that place.

TIA!

I've never eaten there, but they recently did a live dining review of Paradiso 37 on the WDW Radio Show. Here's the link: http://www.wdwradio.com/2010/04/show-165-april-11-2010/. It definitely made me want to go there next trip!

I have been to the Earl of Sandwich...its beautiful inside and the food is good (and breakfast is cheap)! I would recommend it if you're looking for CS in DTD.

I might even go out on a limb and say that it's my favorite restaurant...ever....

I had some type of burrito, and it was supposed to have chicken in it but since I'm really picky with meat and don't usually eat it, I asked for it on the side and they had no problem doing that. I also asked for the sauce that was supposed to cover the burrito on the side too, and they listened. The churros for dessert were realllllly good too. The waiter we had was awesome and always made sure our drinks were filled and we had everything we needed. I'm going back to Disney in July, and I definitely want to go to this restaurant. I recommend 100%!

I'm also looking forward to having a drink there, because I'll be 21 in July when I go :) I would check it out!

We ate there for the first time last Thursday, both the food and service were very good. We will definitely go back.

I'm glad to hear this also. Will be going back to "the World" next Nov. and very much looking forward to trying this place out. Thanks to all! :goodvibes

DW and I ate there last November. It was really good food and great service. We both love Mexican food and were not disappointed at all with our meals, drinks, or appetizers. The only thing to note - it was loud in the late evening. There was live music (which was good) outside and the inside was loud music and people inside. We liked it - it had more of a club type atmosphere than other Disney restaurants. We went pretty late at night (after the kids were sleeping) so I can not say what it is like earlier.
