What about the glass elevator? Has it changed as well?

The glass elevator is assigned a letter and included in the call system as well.

My post above was from early in our trip. I will say that we had much better luck as the week went on. I have no idea why, but I suspect it's because park hours were longer later in the week, so crowds were more spread out. I'm not sure if we'll stay there again (for that reason alone), but my advice has probably changed from asking for a higher floor to asking for a lower floor near the stairs. We ended up taking the stairs down and out every morning but using the elevator at night after being on our feet all day.

I haven't stayed at PPH for 6 years, but will be staying there the week of Dec 12th.
Glad to get this update so I can pack a little extra patience and know of the new system.
I could always opt to take the stairs (atleast in the morning) ...... but my Mom and sister can't, so I'm letting them know that there might be delays and as to why.
