Anyone have any good pictures?

Example suite costs for 6 people?

Are there poolside suites?

The "Exclusive" entrance... is it a bridge over Disneyland drive?

Thanks

Sorry. I don't have pictures. The hotel is just beginning a major interior remodel of all the public areas, rooms and pool.
The pool is located on top of an adjacent building so there are no poolside suites. There are some rooms that open up to a small lawn where you can walk over to the stairs up to the pool area.
The "exclusive" entrance requires you to cross the street at the stpolight, go down a walkway next to the Grand Californian hotel valet parking and into DCA in the Route 66 section. You comeinto the park next to the Corn Dog Castle.

So, is it a pool dedicated to Paradise Pier? or is it the DLH pool?

No. It has it's own pool. Currently it is just a rectangular pool on the 4th floor roof. It doesn't have a lot of atmosphere. It is going down shortley for a couple month refurb, hopefully to be turned into something more interesting. As far as I know, Paradise Pier Guests can use the Disneyland hotel pools though they are not the closest walk for convenience to your room.

The Paradise Pier pool is currently under reconstruction. It opens again in March. I'm not sure what they're doing. The pool is a bit plain, I'm hoping they jazz it up some.

How about pricing? Other than Mousesavers, where do you get good deals? and how much is a room at a good discount price?

The best discounts I have seen people mention are with an Anuall Pass. People were getting rooms for $99. The other place I see decent discounts are on Expedia if they have a lot of inventory and are not selling the rooms they lower the price. I think we paid $120 a couple years ago thorugh Expedia. But you have to check them regularly and sometimes wait until the week before your trip to see if the prices come down.

I've never done an Annual pass.

Where is the best place to get one?

I do not know where you go to get at Annual Pass. I have never had one but here is a Disneyland Website link to Laughingplace.com. It goes to the message boards where the people are very nice and helpfull. You will have to register and create a login but you will get loads of help in the vacation planning section.

I just stayed at PP with an annual pass discount. We paid $119/Sat, $59/Sun, $79/Mon, Tues. I think any of the passes can be used to get these rates. We went in January so the rates may have been lower than what you might get at other times of the year.

You can get an annaul pass at the ticket booth at DLR or you can purchase a voucher in advance from the Disney Store. You can also order them online from Disneyland.com.

For me the annual pass has been the best value, your mileage may vary.
