Hello everybody,

I recently booked a concierge premium view room at Paradise Pier. I've done some googling but can't seem to find any pictures of this view. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am trying to decide if the extra money for the premium view is worth it or if we would be better off trying to request a cabana room. Thanks!

You should be getting either a cabana room or a high up park view. People really enjoy the park views, so if you get one it's fare to assume you will enjoy it too.

That's what I was thinking. When I called to inquire about the cabana rooms the CM on the phone said that I would be downgrading by requesting a cabana room when I had booked a premium view *shrugs* oh well. I will be happy either way.

We had a park view room in May. I have a few pics (don't know how to post pics here, or even if I can). I totally think it is worth it. We are staying at PP again for Christmas and made sure to get a suite with a park view. I can't wait!!!!

Depends on what you consider seeing. You can see the water and the color- we could even feel the heat from the fire. But you are looking at it from the side. There is no detail to be seen. They do pipe in the music and if you've seen WOC then I think this is a good alternative to fighting the crowds.

Thanks. DH and I have seen it and next time we go to DLR we'll probably be babysitting a rambunctious toddler grandson while his parents see WOC close up.

Our family really enjoyed the view from the room, but my daughter got VERY sick and didn't leave the room for two whole days. WOC from the room was her only joy for those days (seeing her standing in the window, watching all the fun in the park was horrible!), that and the awesome sick girl package that was sent up to her when the CM in the concierge lounge heard she was so sick (I was getting our second set of movies for the day and more Sprite). A big part of the reason we are going back was that the staff was incredible and we had a really rough time, in several pathetic ways, LOL
