hello all,

I will be staying with my 2 1/2 year old daughter for one night only this week. i have found excelent rates for both hotels, but DLH is about $35 more. I know that she would love the pool area (big peter pan fan!), but it is only one night...is it worth it? We are trying to keep the cost down, as two days in the parks can sure add up, and $35 would pay for food for one day.

According to the Disney Web site guests at Paradise Pier can use the Disneyland hotel pool, but not the Grand California. So you could stay at PP and swim at Disneyland!

If you don't end up staying at the DLH, at least walk around and check it out. It's a beautiful hotel, filled with Disney magic!:)

Our first trip we stayed at PP. I loved it. The CMs really went out of their way for everything. DL Hotel is nice but bigger and I like the smaller hotels. DL Hotel does have a nice koi pond and you can feed them. Try it really cool. Either way you be happy you stayed on-site.

thanks all!

i decided to go for the DLH. I have always wanted to stay there myself, and my husband kicked in the extra so i could. i am really looking forward to seeing the grounds! my daughter is going to love the pool! bright and early tomorrow we are on our way...
