We went in August and were quite happy with it. We had late reservations (7:30) and there were only a few other groups there. The service was good, not the best I have ever experienced at DL but nothing negative stood out about the service. The food was good and even though it was a later dinner, the buffet was full and the food was fresh.

We thought it was great. Different food than the "usual" stuff and plenty of it. All of it was fresh and tasty. We liked it so much we are going back there instead of our usual Carnation Cafe dinner we always have on our first night at DLR.

There was something for everyone - me (gluten free and mostly vegetarian!), my wife, grandma (no red meat, on pork), and super picky eater DS11. The buffet alone was fantastic but to also be able to order a freshly made pizza? Whaaa?? They even made me a special GF crust pizza too - fig and goat cheese - oh man I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!!

And the desserts were so good - the s'mores were a big hit at our table.

It was really nice to have a buffet alternative with no characters. We love the character meals (we did 3 last trip alone) but it's also nice to eat in peace sometimes!! And the food choices were so varied and different than any of the other meals we've had at DLR and we've had almost all of them. And the price wasn't too bad either!!

@figment_jii did an extensive review of the new buffet, with pictures, about a month ago I think...hopefully they can link back to it for you

My daughter(20) and I had dinner there in August and really enjoyed our meal. The food was fresh and very yummy. They had a pasta station, carving station with ribs, made to order pizza and my daughter loved the smores that were on the dessert table. Our waitress was very friendly and always kept checking on us and clearing the table.pooh:

We had dinner there a couple of weeks ago. We really enjoyed both the service and the food, actually it was one of the best meals I had all week. I would have liked to eat there again but we already had plans for the other nights. There was plenty of variety in the foods even for my youngest who's fussy. My favourites were the pork shoulder (really tender and flavoursome) and the green beans. The desserts were great too, and the chef manning the carvery even put together a strawberry shortcake for my 6 year old which went above and beyond expected service.
