Paradise Pier Hotel Special Entry/Exit

We just returned from a Mid Sept Trip and noticed that the special entrance and Exit to DCA for Paradise Pier Hotel guests was closed. Is this seasonal or has it been closed for a while.?

I think its been closed for awhile.
I was there in July 2005 and stayed for a week at the Paradise Pier Hotel. I was told I could enter and leave DCA through the Grand Californian Hotel entrance, which I did.
