Paradise Pier Hotel Kitchen Fire

I heard reports they had a 2 alarm fire in a kitchen at Paradise Pier Hotel. Has anyone heard anything else?

Hubby found a report on Twitter that just said 2-alarm dispatch in the Disney area. I can tell you there were TONS of sirens and all sorts of fire trucks coming from all directions, as our hotel is on the corner of Katella & Disneyland Dr. We didnt see or smell any smoke, so it must have been well contained.

Thankfully, no injuries or inconveniences to hotel residents and staff

There was in FACT a kitchen fire at Paradise Pier Hotel. Orange and Garden Grove fire and police responded to Gate 21. Hotel guests were evacuated to the hotel parking lot.

We arrived just it was going on. All the roads were blocked going into the area. There was no way to get to PP or GC by car. People were all standing around everywhere, but nothing indicated any injuries or things like that. We got a nice tour of the area on DLH luggage carts as they were trying to get us to GC for check in!
