Paradise Palms or Windsor Hills

Which one would you stay in and why?

I stayed at Paradise Palms last month and have rebooked for June. We really loved it. Its very new and clean and the whole resort pool/clubhouse area is spectacular. We were just really impressed with the whole place and our townhome (4 bed/3 bath) was huge. We have stayed at so many places in Orlando/Kissimmee and it is our favorite by far.

That said, I have visited but not stayed at Windsor Hills. I liked it but it just seems a lot more hit and miss. One person will love their vacation home, the next will say their home was disgusting and needed new furniture and had algae in the pool. I think this is because the individual owners and management companies are all different. Because it is older, some homes are showing wear and may not be being kept up while others are kept up very well.

So overall I would say Paradise Palms. When we were there we met people who were on their 3rd and 4th stays there (Brazilians and Americans) so I think a lot of people find it worth returning to. I know that before we always crossed our fingers and hoped the place we booked was as great as it looked, sometimes it was as in the Marriott resorts, sometimes it was a major let down (Regal Oaks, Legacy Vacation Club).

If you choose Windsor Hills I would go through VRBO or Homeaway, and get a place with a lot of positive reviews for that specific home/condo/townhome and not and agency that will just give you any home available so you know what you are getting.
