Leaving on November 3 and was wondering about where the best place to sit as well as how early in advance to sit for these parades/entertainment

parade of dreams anywhere along the parade route is fine especially the day parade not crowded. Fireworks SEE THEM ON MAINSTREET IN THE HUB I say in caps cause that is the second to last night of remember dreams come true for 2006 the last being nov 4 after the fireworks show ( and i mean the second the last firework goes dart to the rivers of america and you should get a front row seat for the 1030 fantasmic. Have fun!

The parade of dreams moves and stops at certains points in the songs so location is very, very important. Once on the east side of the route at the south west corner of the matterhorn (which is closed) and that was a great place and I heard both Beauty and the Beasts and Lion King's floats stopped right there in the parade for their little songs. The next night I was in the hub and heard ursala (sp?) sing and that was the only float that stopped in the hub, pretty dissapointing. The next night I was down in the shops (this time the parade was heading towards small world instead of away from) and I was by the little mermaid float when it stopped but was dissapointed as it's just subastian singing, but the lights on her float are cool to watch since they're synced really well with the music.

My recommendation is go over by the matterhorn for best results. Weekday crowds weren't bad, weekend were.

The other floats (mickey and the princesses/princes at the end of the parade) is just fine watching it pass by, they don't have cool sequences or songs like the other floats.

I must say though, I really, really liked the music from this and it's really catchy. But I did like the Light Magic parade music.
