A few weeks ago I saw some info somewhere about where not to be in the MK if you don't want to watch the afternoon parade and don't want to get stuck. Can't find the info now and I wanted to make a note of it so we don't make that mistake, as we're not interested in the daytime parade. Anyone here have any tips? TIA :)

I wouldn't be anywhere on Main Street...go back to either tomorrow land or adventureland...the crowds get really bad Main Street through Liberty Square.

Last month, we just stayed over by the Buzz Lightyear ride & rode it several times in a row...not much of a line at all during the parade.

Daytime parade route:

1. Enters onto Frontierland street back by Splash Mtn.

2. Travels to Liberty Square, enters Hub

3. Circles around hub (Walt and Mickey Staute)

4. Heads up Main Street to Flag green

5. Circles around Flag green (Roy Disney and Minnie Statue)

6. Exits between Fire Station and Barbershop

So, anywhere in Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Tom Sawyer's Island, Fantasyland (and Haunted Mansion), or Mickey's Toontown will avoid the parade route. You can also travel on the WDW Railroad to/from all stations during the daytime parade of circumvent the parade crowds.

BTW, the night-time parade (Spectromagic) follows the same route, but it goes the OPPOSITE direction (it ENTERS between Fire Station and Barbershop).
