Parade of Dreams: Missing final float

Hi,

We visited Disneyland from Aug 30-Sept 13 and on one of the days, the Parade of Dreams was running without the final float with Mickey and the gang. Does that happen often? Through the years i've seen a few floats being towed but have never seen a float missing. The cool thing about it was that Mickey and Minnie were walking at the beginning of the parade and the princesses, Donald, Chip and Dales were walking at the end of the parade It was nice to see Mickey and Minnie's "full costumes" since you usually only see half of it when they are on the float!!!

That's strange! Maybe something was wrong with the float so I guess instead of cutting the whole parade they just removed the float?

That's neat that they still had those characters apart of the parade walking around!!!

When the Play Parade was still new, the whole Bug's Life section was missing. Since that time was my first, I was like "Where's Flick & Atta?" I saw the parade twice w/out the Bug's Life section before they were inserted in.

Just not the same without the float at the end! I hope they fix whatever problem it has and restore it quickly..
