If we are in the BB PTN area by starbucks, for the first parade...will we be able to make it closer to say the Plaza Inn corner for fireworks? 2 yrs ago we had a great spot for fireworks. We were able to sit right there, the kids could see well. I think we just happened upon it, but I'm trying to figure out if we can redo it for our March trip. I can't see them enjoying fireworks if they're are stuck below adult shoulders having to stand.

If we were to want to see the parade from there, so we wouldn't have to move, how early would you say we'd need to be there? I don't remember exactly, but I want to say maybe we moved into that spot as they moved parade ropes? It just happened quickly and was awesome :)

The BB area ends at Market House. If you were standing at the end and pushed into the street you might get all the way to Photo Supply before the crowd fills in. But I think the view on Main St is actually better because you can see the projections on the buildings. At Plaza Inn you'll have to have a view of the castle to see any projections. The current show relies more on the projections than the actual fireworks, so having a clear view of the pyrotechnics isn't necessarily the best view for the overall show.

Ah, ok, so I'd be best to stay put so the kids could see projections? Especially if the littles will flip out over firework noise? How crowded will main street get? I just imagine us in a cluster of adults and they wouldn't see the buildings either.

We were there last night and got a spot for parade viewing in front of City Hall. We were right on the curb, around 30-35 minutes prior to the parade starting. As soon as the parade finished we walked down to stand in the center of Main Street near the Penny Arcade, which is a great area for seeing the projections. The entire street will fill up with people, but we haven't felt too claustrophobic or anything. We like being at that end because we aren't fighting the crowds as much when we head out.
