It is have been a long time since I have gone to either DL or WDW in general and last time I went with someone in a scooter we had a hard time finding a spot to watch parades. One member of my party for my upcoming trip is very scooter-bound, they can walk with a walker, maybe 100 ft, but it is incredibly painfully slow and they absolutely cannot stand for the parade. I remember being chased out of areas by cast members last time when we tried to watch the parade with the scooter, but nobody could tell us if there was a select viewing area. We were sitting next to other people who were not in scooters and absolutely not in walkways or areas where people were not supposed to be. We had people behind us who promptly scooted into our spot as we left, so it was just because we were in a scooter. This also happened at Disneyland while trying to watch the candlelight processional. It was really frustrating to have what we thought was a good spot only to be moved but nobody could tell us where we were supposed to go. What is the protocol for watching the parade with a scooter-bound person?
