Parade Advice Plz?

How early should you get a spot for the 3pm parade at MK? I have scheduled a 1m PS at Crystal Palace & wonder if by time we get out will there be spots? What is a recommended spot for the parade besides main street area? Would like to see it this day but we are going back for a 2nd day later in the week. But on the 2nd day wanted the hit the rides while crowds were at parade. Thanks for your input!

When will you be there?? Unless it happens to be an exceptionally busy time, I think you'll be OK with a 1:00 PS.

Even if Main Street has begun to fill up, lots of folks like the Frontierland area . It seems to have good parade-viewing spots even after the hub and Main Street begin to get crowded.

We like parade viewing in the area in front of the Liberty Tree Inn.

You should be fine unless it is a peak time and you are trying for a Main Street viewing spot. We got a spot in Frontierland last July for Spectro just 20 minutes from start time and we were all alone up until 5 minutes before.

I think you should be fine if you stake out a spot immediately following your meal. I advise you to head to Frontierland, since most people fill up Main Street first. And, the parade starts in Frontierland, so you will get to see it closer to start time versus the people on Main Street who are still waiting to see first float at 3:10 p.m.

We saw the MK parade last month; we had spent the AM in MGM, and came back to our room around 2. My son and I walked over to the MK and made our way to Frontierland and got nearly a front row spot in front of Liberty Tree Tavern at 2:45. Frontierland is the way to go!
