Over the last year or two, I have really gotten into scrapbooking. I have collected tons of paper. Right now, I have an expandable paper keeper (I have no idea what they are called) that I bought at Michaels, but I would really like to find something else where I can see what I have more easily. What do all of you use to store your paper? I've looked for some type of shelving, but I don't really want to spend a fortune on it. Any ideas?

I have the set of cubes from target (it runs about 14$ for a set of I think it must make 6-9, not really sure) but I make 2 cubes out of it and then use the rest of the pieces to make the shelves. Just use twist ties to hold them in place where you want them. :D maggie

I've heard people talk about the cubes from Target, but I can't seem to find them. What department are they in?

I bought an organizer called Scrap Rack at the Great American Scrapbook Convention and it's really nice for paper especially. This is the website The Scrap-Rack . I found that Hobby Lobby carries a 12x12 Page Protectors from Ultra Pro that go on sale for 1/2 off so I can get 25 for $3. Since any 3 ring binder page works for the scraprack I use those for my papers, I use just plain sheet protectors for many of the assorted stickers & other things they are just much cheaper than the dividers made for scrapbook organization.

It is really nice to be able to page through them when I'm looking for something. The downside is that I think I'm going to need another rack because I already filled up one with my stuff. I've got almost everything in it though and since my Dining Room is also my Scrapbook room this system works great for me. It folds down and fits into the sideboard when I'm not using it. So, is it $22.53 for one paper holder? If so, I guess it's a better deal to order the entire QVC set, isn't it? What I really wanted to do was use an old file cabinet that I have, but I can't find any hanging folders that are 12" deep.

The scrap rack looks pretty good too. I have a 3 ring binder that I use for all of my patterned papers that is on the same idea, but the scrap rack looks easier to look through. I might have to check into that.

I bought a paper holder from Cropper Hopper on Friday at LSS. It was about $5 for one and the dividers are sold separate. I didn't think I needed them. I am just getting it organized and think I am going to like it and may get another. I also bought some Target cubes(I found them with other metal storage things) last week but DD stole them from me for her room. I don't get how some people use plastic ties to hook them for paper shelves.

Do you live near an IKEA? I keep all of my paper in plastic shoe boxes from IKEA - they hang on the wall and hold a ton of paper

I'll have to measure and see if those hanging folder will work...I hope they do. It sure would solve a lot of problems!

We don't have an IKEA store around here that I know of. Is it like a Container Store?
