Looking at this in photobucket you really can't see that it is multidimensional but they are.

I feel like I cheated. I printed in color on white cardstock several layers and cur them all out with cutterbees. I then pop dotted the different pre printed layers together. I didn't printed each color out individually.

Sometimes the images are so detailed that that is the way you have to do it. It would be impossible to print and cut out each individual piece. For my PP groups, I just used colored pencils for some parts because they were too tiny.

Thanks for the tip, I will remember that.

Good gravy! Adorable... I wish I had the patience for that.... but nope, not me... I have to leave it to you girls!!! Good work!!!

Wow, those look great!!! I need to try paper piecing and see if I can do it. I'm sure whatever I make won't look as good as that though!!!

Susie, those look incredible!! :worship: :worship: :worship: I always think your work is lovely...A-1 quality! :thumbsup2

My one & only attempt at PP for a swap was pretty bad. I ended up doing something really simple to make it look nice enough...never again! :scared1:

Susie those are so cute!

I did the same thing with mine - and I felt the same way (like it wasn't good enough) until they were done and then I loved them! I stickled mine for more dimension too and they came out cute. I did one for the paper piecing group and then did two paper piecings for my general disney group too.

The good thing about doing those was I took them to work and snipped away at lunch some days!

What's a cutterbee? I used fiskars scissors.

They are those little SHARP sciissors that look like a bumblebee and they are so make HUGE Queen Bee scissors which I love.

Now cutterbees come in colors other than yellow. What I love is they also make a nonstick version.....you can cut through pop dots!

Can't wait to see yours.
