I searched here, couldn't find past practice.

Have been mulling over the PAP offer but unsure if I would be able to activate it in January, 2015 (SWA doesn't have schedule out and it'd be dependent on our ability to stop off in MCO on way to SJU, visit GS & make a flight out later that day).

:scratchinThought I read here that if you didn't activate the PAP will call/voucher in time you would receive a credit for future ticket media as to price paid.

When I called MS this am was told that is incorrect and the entire $ amount would be forfeit. :confused3

We missed our date for the previous PAP offer. It had to be activated by December 31, 2013. In March 2014 we took our voucher to one of the parks Guest Services windows and they were able to credit the amount of that PAP towards a current one (which was more expensive of course). But at least we didn't loose all of the value we had already spent.

There were members who posted on this board from the last promo that they were able to cancel and get a refund.

thank you, I had thought I read it here that at least the ability to upgrade was available, missed re requesting a refund though.

still deciding but will call and ask to speak to supervisor if I do decide to purchase them.

we have AP vouchers in hand for next go-around, just afraid they might not offer this deal again and hate to miss out lol

Remember that the regular pass will still have it's discount, and decide if laying out that cash now for the PAP, vs just getting a regular AP later is worth it to have the water parks and Disney Quest on there. If you don't really use those options, then it might be better to save the cash for later and not stress over it.

yes, that is exactly the conclusion I've come to. No evidence but have a feeling they well be offering the PAP every 1-1/2 years or so, if not we will make do with the discounted APs as long as they are offered.
